All Granite Cask ingredient kits are handmade on premise and based on original recipes. Many of them are award-winners and all of them are time tested and brewer approved. We only use the freshest ingredients. Our kits go directly from raw ingredients to your home brewery. We view beer and brewing ingredients as perishable items, which is what sets our kits apart from the rest. A cross-section of kits will be found on our shelves in order to assure freshness, but any of the following kits can be made for you upon request. Kits rotate constantly. If you want to brew a style of beer that you don't see on our shelf or have a commercial favorite, just ask - custom kits are always available. All kits are available in extract and all grain to suit the needs of every brewer.

Summer Solstice Ale Pale orange to golden. Light to medium-bodied. this refreshing farmhouse ale features spicy yeast flavor from the saison yeast and a citrus-like fruitiness from American hops. A dry finish makes this summer offering very thirst-quenching.
Pre-Prohibition Cream Ale Pale straw colored. Medium-bodied. A strong yet smooth malty flavorful ale with firm bitterness. A very lager-like hoppy pale ale. This recipe is based on early 19th century sparkling ales that were brewed by many breweries in the Northeast.

White Mountain Stout Jet black in color. Medium to full-bodied. Coffee and bittersweet chocolate malt flavor with resiny American hop character.
New England IPA Golden with orange hues. Medium to light-bodied. A hoppy somewhat strong ale with a biscuity malt flavor that compliments the floral earthy hop flavor and aroma. A New England classic based on the English IPA.
Blueberry Honey Wheat Hazy and golden in color. Light to medium-bodied. The bread-like flavor of the wheat malt works beautifully with the delicate floral Mclure's blueberry honey. A very smooth, clean ale that is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Granite Cask Irish Stout Deep brown to black. Medium-bodied. Roasted espresso flavor and aroma. Slightly bitter and creamy. A classic Irish dry stout.

Milk Stout Very dark brown to black, full-bodied and creamy. Slightly roasty with coffee and chocolate flavors.
Pumpkin Spice Pale Ale Granite Cask is happy to bring this traditional autumn seasonal to New England. Pale, light to medium-bodied. Slight sweet toasty malt character lays the background for cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, cardamom, ginger and allspice.
Scottish 80 A copper Scottish-style session ale. Medium-bodied. Very malty with low bitterness.

Tripel Pale to golden, light-bodied. Warming with fruity esters and spiciness derived from the Belgian yeast.
Wildflower Barleywine
Braggot This style combines
characteristics of mead and American-style barleywine. Copper, light to
medium-bodied. Dark caramel flavored with malt, citrus hops and wildflower
honey add complex flavors.
Orange Blossom Tripel Braggot This style combines characteristics
of mead and a Belgian Tripel. Pale to golden, light-bodied. Orange blossom
honey and Belgian yeast add complexity.
Cream Ale Pale straw color. Light to medium-bodied. Balanced malt
and hops. Very thirst-quenching, making this a classic "lawnmower

Smoked Porter Dark brown. Medium-bodied. A malty robust porter

Imperial IPA
Pale with a slight hop haze. A very strong India Pale Ale with 3oz. of hops
brought in specially for this recipe. 85 IBU's. An intense but smooth
bitterness packed with hop flavor and aroma.
Weizen Cloudy,
pale straw color. Medium to light-bodied. Traditional banana and clove flavor
derived from Bavarian yeast.
Winter Wit A
Belgian-style wit (wheat beer) with double the malt makes this a great winter
warmer. Hazy golden, tart and bread-like malt flavor. Spicy noble hops and an
ample dose of coriander and bitter orange peel.
Barleywine A
distinctly American-style interpretation of the classic English barleywine.
More malt and bitterness, intense citrus flavor and aroma, and more alcohol.
12lbs of liquid malt extract and a blend of caramel malts provide a solid malt
backbone to balance this hop bomb. Copper, extreme maltiness with notes of dark
caramel. 4oz. of hops brought in specially for this recipe creats a potent 100+
IBU's. The ultimate winter warmer.
Oak-Aged Imperial Stout
Jet black, full-bodied. Intense maltiness with a focus on roasted malt. Warming
alcohol. Bittersweet chocolate and espresso flavors. Substantial bitterness to
balance the large amount of malt. American oak cubes (heavy toast) impart
toffee, vanilla and toasty characteristics. This beer will age very gracefully.
New Hampshire Bourbon Barrel
Breakfast Stout A classic milk stout recipe infused with
bourbon barrel-soaked oak cubes. Deep brown to black. Creamy, full-bodied mouth
feel. Sweet and malty with coffee-like roastiness. Chocolate, burnt caramel.
